All the details were so easily predictable compared to what was actually on the album. You never showed any solid proof that you had it. I mean, the idea that she could be better than Monique could have been just a matter of opinion. After all, you said Suckers was good.

They played in New Jersey the day after FFF came out. She was great.
      [/quote1279897314]

LOL did you even THINK that i had it digitally!?!?!??!?!? LOL. it's 2010 buddy…. get with the times. o yeah cause all the small details that i provided, even miniscule ones, those were predicitble. god your just simply jealous cause here comes this poster who had the album & simply wouldnt share. On my part,I couldnt and you should respoect that, but i was nice enough to come on, on the short time i had, to provide the details i did. after reading yours and someone else's fucking 10,000 word essay on it, i can see why you think i didnt have it, as i didnt provide insane reviews of each song. I was not listening to the cd as i posted that, that was all going off cuff, and secondly, I enjoy-ed it and didnt feel the need to nit pick each song as some of you have. I do like Suckers, and I am super happy with the other songs i mentioned as well. I think they really sound refreshing and better. I love reel big fish, i'm grateful to have gotten the ENTIRE album early, and you can go fuck yourself as RBF would say, cause i wont even share the details of the itunes release or what else is expected to come with this. Ungrateful

o and that was NOT Monique. She would never perform with them (or save ferris for the record) & the band & aaron havent had contact with her Monique in Jersey? why in god's name would she be there. Aaron is known for bringing different singers on stage & telling the fans its Monique. Go look on line at the Hawaii show from this past March. Yeah cause monique was in hawaii too. dumbass

I think the acoustic version of She Has A Girlfriend Now with Kaila Khan is now my favorite version of the song. Also I really am enjoying the new version of Thank You For Not Moshing, which is now called In The Pit as of the live album I guess. Where Have You Been is finally listenable for me, even more so on the acoustic disc. I absolutely love acoustic Sell Out, Beer, and especially Take On Me. I'm really happy with this album.

Laila K's vocals were awful imo. She sounded like a little girl, and it was not enjoyable.

And, for the record, Thank You For Not Moshing was actually called In the Pit before it got its better (but less convenient) name. And yeah, I guess now Aaron has decided it's back to In the Pit. The version on this album actually sounds more akin to the original version anyway, especially considering Dan's solo and stuff like that.

Your joking on the acoustic version of She has a gf now right… seriously i cringe hearing it and its such a great song. i mean, she has to have an even worse voice than that chic that did it on the live album and ugh, that was bad. its just too whiny,

nasly & just not good. maybe on their own songs with their own bands, but not on this song. The girl who did it on the re recorded version, Katrina, should by far, have done the acoustic one as well. IMO, her's is better than Monique's if i should dare to say, and its got alot of personality to it. but the whole album just sounds super great & i agree that Trendy,She Has A GF now are the most fun and spirited from Turn the Radio off
      [/quote1279839504]

You should have told us the girl on the acoustic versions sucked a week ago when you "had the album"
      [/quote1279847934]

Seriously ……. your gonna sit there & continue to doubt I had it yet I told u so many tiny details about the songs you are still gonna think I was lying. Suit yourself. I did mention in a post that katrina's version blew monique's out of the water prior to my earlier post today. I think this re recorded version is just superb as all 3 vocals are so strong and outstanding. The previous one was just way too flat now that I hear it after listening to this. But all 3 vocals were flat.

Where did you see monique sing with them?

hey maybe a first time poster, but been reading the board long enough. suit yourself, i was trying to get you guys amped up about something incredible. The songs are done like they are on the org albums, not how they do them live in concert, but gurantee you will be plesantly surprised!!!
      [/quote1279294279]

If you really have the CD, put it online for all of us to hear it.
      [/quote1279300316]

If I was Aaron, i'd be performing at this moment on stage for warped tour since they are the 1st band on today in NJ

B, I'm not risking it and putting it up to stream for free. Shame on you and you should be supporting these guys when it comes out on tuesday. Good thing does not have that crappy intro that Cheer up had, no extended horn solos for Where have you been & 2 different chic singers for the org She has a girlfriend now and the acoustic one.
      [/quote1279301365]

I will be buying it when it comes out, but I highly doubt you have it.

I guess the proof will be in the pudding in four days' time.
      [/quote1279301751]

Doubt all you want. How could I possibly know the details I have already provided if I didnt have it. Don't be jealous or a hater, I just simply cannot share the album. I will tell you its really amazing and blows the original recordings out of the water!!

      [/quote1279305276]

I second the motion above me. Just a picture of your hand holding the album or even just an audio snippet of one of the songs.

As to how you could know those things? Where Have You Been? lacking the solos is obvious when you read the track length. Having two different SHAGN singers is likely (equally likely as it being the same singer), and one would figure that Good Thing would keep the cheesy intro to be as faithful to the recording as possible.

To play along, how do the WDTRSH songs sound?
      [/quote1279307131]

Why Do They Rock So Hard and Turn the Radio off are the most noticiable in difference. Scott sings Coolie Ranx's vocals along with Aaron harmonizing on In The Pit. She has a girlfriend Now acoustic is the singer from Sonic Boom Six and the orignal version is another girl, new singer. And no, Good thing does not have the cheesy intro, just straight into the Haha and beginning of song. Sell out is sick. I was seriously surprised at really how well they re recorded these songs. they may have done the albums previously in 'multimillion dollar studios' but that was also over 10 + years ago for some of the recordings, hence they've bettered their craft and with Reel Big Fish behind the producing, they are getting the vision and sound out of what they really wanted from those songs, hence making them sound refreshing!

I have it and holy shit is it good! Really good. Vast difference in the sound, actually with the re recorded songs sounding better then the orginals!! Turn the radio off remakes are remarkable! As well as the other albums but it's seriously splendid
