nice.
macs do have great hardware in them and the OS does make good use of memory (which is why operation is normally so smooth) but other than that, the OS sucks. it's made for people who are too scared or too stupid to otherwise operate a computer.
but pc's are the shit. can build it from scratch so you don't have to pay a few hundred extra for pre-assembled (no such option with macs) and you have relative free reign over your OS, though not as much as linux…though that can get to be a pain…especially when you're like me and like to customize stuff and mess around with programs because it gets to be too open and you can really easily mess something up.
oh yeah..and pc's actually get video games. back when my family only had a mac (a power pc model), i had to wait for ultimate doom before i could play doom 1 and doom 2 came out forever after doom 2 for PC and from what i remember working retail: macs still don't get shit for games.
