It’s good to learn from situations like that, it helps you learn how to deal with/ avoid it in the future.
The covers were fun, and as for who played on the covers? Good question. All I want it more- I did drums and one guitar track, you did trumpet and group vocals, Rik was sax, Robby was Trumpet in the lower [trombone] octave, Chris vocals, I think Darrin did bass He was the guy Robby claimed to know in person. I thought there was another trumpet, and I can’t remember who did the guitar track and solo, it wasn’t me.
I think John was on the Hate You cover. I can’t remember who did what besides Matt Wixson on vocals.
I remember your band, it was mostly covers right? Is your band called Sucks To Be You, or is that Rikk’s? It would have been cool if you did WHYBBeer. I can’t remember if the board band ever finish it or not.
As for my band, we have few songs completed but we’re waiting until winter to finish it all at once. We sometimes use studio drummers, and I just found Andrew Gonzales’ website. I’m seriously thinking about hiring him to finish the last songs on the record. He’s an amazing drummer. I’ll post it here when all is done.
