      Thoughts?

And what song(s) did you think they play? RBF isn't really known for having positive lyrics, unless they had to change the song around to fix it to the kids liking.

RBF performing on Yo Gabba Gabba was long overdue. So many awesome bands perform on that show. The Aquabats, The Aggrolites, Supernova, The Ting Tings, Jimmy Eat World, The Roots, The Shins, etc.

I agree though, RBF doesn't have as many kid friendly songs for a show like that. The creator of that show is very fond of RBF, so they would've made it work somehow.

I would think they would perform Monkey Man (with fixed Lyrics) or Take On Me. OR either a completely different cover song. I'm just waiting till a video surface on the internet.

I'd hope Christian was fond of RBF! :p

It was because of RBF that I ever saw The Aquabats (that tour back in 97 with Kara's Flowers/Maroon 5).

Okay. I had to put it that way, because a few years ago when I mentioned Yo Gabba Gabba on here, nobody heard of it or even knew the connection, so yeah….

That was the first time I saw RBF or the Aquabats, and that's when Travis Barker was in the Aquabats,

That's weird given that the art direction on Yo Gabba Gabba is just straight up Aquabats art but made slightly friendlier. Maybe they just hadn't seen the TV show?

Really the only reason why I know of Yo Gabba Gabba is when they started bring a lot of good bands into their show.
Something MTV can't seem to do so well.

Probably. Or maybe I just happened to know about it sooner than most of you guys on here, because I think I'm the only one who has kids…so I'm stuck having to watch it all day everyday.

Haha, maybe! But I think most people here would respond (at least to some degree) to "A show made by The MC Bat Commander!" as everything involving The Aquabats! must involve exclamation points…something I neglected last time….I'm a bad cadet 🙁 .

Jon, I made a very broad, generic, borderline sarcastic statement. I didn't accuse anybody of anything, I didn't state anything false. I'm hardly on here anymore and I was responding to Mr. Godkill's post. Knock yourself and argue about something that has absolutely no challenge. You're almost as bad as Dave. Congratulations!

Just scimming through this whole "arguement" makes it feel pointless.

      Let's Get back on topic.

Has any video made it to the internet yet?

      My point exactly.

I'm still looking for a video. If I can find it, I'll post it.

I didn't realize we were arguing or engaging in any kind of negative scrim. I wasn't trying to be mean or anything. I accused you of accusing somebody or something? ?!

I was expecting a cover. But I was more going for Monkey Man or Take on Me.

Oh well, Brown eyed girl is a good clean fun song for everyone. The parents and kid would of love to hear that when they were there.

      A poorly written review?

But seriously now. I remember when that happened. Mental Breakdown Aaron's blog entries were the best!

A drunken, drug induced rage where Aaron storms offstage after breaking instruments… Sorry that joke really wasn't that clear.

When will the video of Yo Gabba Gabba surface?

I love the comments on that article. "My guitarist met with Scott after the show. Think it was Barton's. He was cool to meet and kinda a tweeker."

I think they could've played Pete's Dragon or something of that nature.
