your school not letting you install firefox is really something strange but not unusual. it's quite a bit more stable and html compliant than ie.

sweet. alright this is what you do:

1. make sure you are running firefox and not ie.
2. go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006 to for the video download helper extension.
3. install the extension.
4. go to http://scottklopfenstein.ning.com/ and play at least a second of the songs you want to download
5. you will see a new icon for the download helper in the navigation tool bar between the home button and the address bar (i think it may be in the status bar if you're on a mac).
6. if you click the little down arrow next to it a list of the songs will appear. click on each one to download.

i wasn't familiar with these new songs. very cool stuff.

i had downloaded a while back, it's not reel big fish. if you do a google search for it you will find someone had posted this with [fill in the band name] featuring hoobin with bands like rancid, sublime, nofx, etc. and the myspace page listed in the details no longer exists. just somebody trying to get exposure the wrong way.

if you're running mac os x, rar files should be associated with stuffit expander by default and all you have to do is double click on the rar file and you will have your files.

i run a mac at work and a pc at home.

if you don't want to download any software, you can try this site:

http://wobzip.org/

it un-compresses rar files for you so you don't have to install any software on your system. max limit is 100mb so you're in good shape.

but if you change you mind about installing software, winrar is great. you could install it, unrar the file, then uninstall it.
