MemberThe funny thing is…I'm the uploader of that, and the whole DVD. I find this whole ordeal hilarious…first you guys link to those videos, now the fish themselves are.

AngryOpossumMemberThat's odd, because that means one of them had to be searching for something like that in the first place xD

MemberAaron seems like the type of guy who would search his own band's videos on YouTube.

MemberBumping this topic for hilarious reason:
After posting the videos on their own Facebook not too long ago, I got a bunch of e-mails from YouTube telling me that they've removed my videos due to a claim of copyright infringement…
By Reel Big Fish! I'm not upset, that's just weird…they post it on their Facebook, then tell YouTube to take it down…
They were reported yesterday, July 20th. Coincidence?

[/quote1280169517]Yeah, YouTube is weird about copyright things. It was probably automated. Hell, it probably annoyed the band too.

[/quote1280197518]The thing is, they were deleted on July 20th. That seems like an awfully big coincidence…

MemberSo, as it turns out, it WAS a coincidence.
Reel Big Fish didn't file a complaint. Pascal de Maria filed a complaint on behalf of Reel Big Fish.

Re: Re: Copyright Infringement
Thanks. The RBF facebook person isn't actually the band. Their mistake.
Thanks again
What!? I really thought Aaron ran the Facebook. Man, that makes me sad.

MemberEl, I don't know where you get your info from, but it's B.S.
Aaron runs RBF's facebook. I know Pascal. He doesn't have the time to run someone else's Facebook. He was hired to do the editing on those clips. Because he was the editor, the copyright infringement can be filed against him, so he's forced to file and have it taken down because it was reported by god knows who. Otherwise his ass is on the line and he can get sued.

If you know him, go tell him he's feeding a fan B.S.

MemberI know him but I don't need to tell him. RBF's manager will. I spoke to him about this today and he says Aaron runs it.
The responsible thing to do, would be to verify it with the band or the manager before you put misleading information out like that.

Yeah, the responsible thing to do if you have connections.
I was just posting what Pascal sent to me.
