So what does everyone think of the idea of the bonus disc?

      1. Sell Out (skacoustic) 3:56
      2. Take on Me (skacoustic) 3:14
      3. Beer (skacoustic) 3:51
      4. She Has a Girlfriend Now (skacoustic) 3:04
      5. Another F.U. Song (skacoustic) 1:03
      6. Your Guts (i hate 'em) (skacoustic) 1:55
      7. Suckers (skacoustic) 3:39
      8. Where have you been (skacoustic) 4:01
      9. Don't Start a Band (skacoustic) 3:17
      10. S.R. (skacoustic) 1:37
      11. 241 (skacoustic) 2:41
      12. the Kids Don't Like it (skacoustic) 3:24
      13. Scott's a Dork (skacoustic) 3:04
      14. Nothin' (skacoustic) 2:06

I think I would be more excited for it if the tracklist wasn't a 5th repackaging of most of the same freaking songs.

Songs I would have liked to see:

      1. Sell Out
      2. Suckers
      3. She Has a Girlfriend Now (I'll contest that this would work)
      4. Way Back
      5. Join The Club
      6. Don't Start A Band
      7. Trendy (this would work really well as a sing along)
      8. A Little Doubt Goes A Long Way
      9. The Joke's On Me
      10. Beer
      11. 241
      12. The Kids Don't Like it
      13. Scott's A Dork
      14. Brand New Hero
      15. We Care
      16. Spin The Globe

      (Hidden track: Everything Is Cool)

It's funny you mention "Spin The Globe"… They put that in the liner notes.

The disc actually works very well…the later songs are really great. It sounds like they used the same vocals from the Best Of disc for the skacoustic songs, though.

Yeah, I think they used everything from the best of disc and just replaced the electric guitar with the acoustic guitar.

In the booklet theres a paragraph about how everyone has their favorite obscure song, the ones they used as an example were Say 10, Nothin' Like A Dame, and Spin The Globe.

Nothin' Like a Dame is easily one of their best covers.

I wonder if they'll release another rerecording batch (of less popular stuff)

I hope to hear a rerecording of Spin The Globe in some form soon.

I really hope that when they finally come out with a real new album with new material that it'll be great and we wont be complaining anymore.
      Make it happen RBF! lol

With the surprisingly (at least, in the wake of FFF) high quality of A Best of Us, I'd be so freaking disappointed if their new album was bad.

I realized today that it's been over 5 years since Reel Big Fish came out with a reel new album (lame pun). RBF wasn't even one of my favorite bands then…

Also, for some reason on my skacoustic disc, Take on Me is Beer and Beer is Take on Me
Did that happen to anyone else?

I started listening to Reel Big Fish right after Monkeys came out. Why Do They Rock So Hard? had me hooked.

And yeah, they messed up on either the tracklisting or the pressing of the CDs. I think everyone has that mistake.

The Live album got me hooked. It's stil my favorite album of all time, by quite a bit.
