      I used to seldom watch the one in which two homemade robots had to fight. Robot wars, I think it was named.

      It's the best transformer series, no question.

      I like Beast Machines too, but that's an acquired taste.

      Beast Machines is good.
      It's just that Rattrap and Rhinox wouldn't really act the way they did, and Nightscream was stupid.

      He had the most unexplainable character turn of all.

      Which sucks because he was awesome.

      The other character changes were understandable, and in some cases, good (except for that one episode where Rattrap tries to kill the team).
      The Vehicons were really badass though.

      I just did.
      I have the Beast Wars and Beast Machines DVDs.

      I think season one is the best, but as a whole, it's like a play in three acts; season one, yeah, they're at war, but it's a walk in the park. In season 2/3, shit starts going down; people die, aliens are super pissed. And Beast Machines, everything is wrapped up nicely in the end.

      Except Rhinox.

      The whole thing?
      That would have been awful.
      I kind of wish they followed up on it; there hasn't been anything in G1 Transformers continuity since then.

      Yeah, I think because Beast Machines had such mixed reactions they took it away from Mainframe and gave it to Gonzo studios who do boring 3D stuff with it.

      They also keep remaking the orginal series over and over again. Although that starscream cameo in Beast Wars was bad ass.

      Yeah it was.
      They could have done a little more with the voice, rather than just having Terrorsaur's actor just do the same voice.

      I don't see Rattrap's name anywhere in there.
      A Beast Wars show lacking Rattrap would have taken a major hit.

      True, I thought that was odd. I'm sure they would have brought one of the best characters back, though. As long as he didn't turn out like Rhinox.
