Setlist for my band's reunion gig

After a couple of years of doing very little, my band Sucks to be you! (not to be mistaken for the almost omonymous British punk act – we were born before them anyway) is finally getting back on the scenes. This saturday. Hoooray.

It’s a 50 minute long, mostly Fish-oriented thing, here’s the setlist:

That’s a lot of Reel Big Fish. Are you a tribute band?

Almost… we started out just playing their songs and we still like them. We have some of our own and by other bands as well, but yes, I’d say around 70% of our material is RBF.

worst song I’ve ever written. I like the other one we did that night much more, but it wasn’t taped. Anyway, people were moshing so hard on this one. It was one of the best moment in my life as musician. Like… fuck it, they’re having a good time on MY song! Hell yeah.

It was not my best show personally (I played too loud and got tired too fast, so I couldn’t hit high notes in the last couple of songs 🙁 ), but ok, I care much more about the overall effect we get and I think that was quite nice!
