      This was a thread on the old board. In fact, it was the only reason I met Chris and Amy and Jon. We knew what we all looked like and looked for each other at shows. So, here goes:

      I actually think it was just good timing with the camera as he was pushed by someone off camera so hard that he flew across the room and broke his fall by putting his arm down. or he could be break dancing..

      So the last batch of Czechs we had working with us had a guy who plays guitar.  He’s really big into Bluegrass and Classic Rock.
      Still, I showed him how to play ‘Beer.’  He liked the song well enough but really started to love it when he started breaking down the lyrics (not a strong English speaker).  He ended up giving me a DVD with a shitload of Czech music (especially Kabát) and I started running those songs through Google translations… almost all of them are about getting shit faced for one reason or another (if not several).
      I guess ‘Beer’ really speaks to the Czech psyche.

      These two pictures were taken on the same day last April, at some 10 km distance between each other during a solitary hiking trip in Thessaly, Greece.
      First – only? – time in my life that I got to sink in half a meter of snow in the mountains (morning) and swim in the sea (afternoon).
