ReelBigCohenMemberTomorrow I head on over to Orlando to House of Blues at Downtown Disney to see Reel Big Fish. Then back home to Tampa to see them again. They are playing in St. Pete for the first time since 09′ I believe so about 4 years. Should be a great fucking time with all my friends. I’m hoping I can bring as many friends as I can to share the fun and memories. Then on Saturday I am off to Ft Lauderdale to see them there for the first time. I have no life.

ReelBigCohenMemberI think they swapped out a song or two. They played 4 or 5 songs from the new album. Was kind of sad they never played Dont Start A Band or Ban the Tube Top or THE SET-UP FUCKKKKKKKKKKK, I just remembered they never played this….

SamuMemberSophie’s the only fan I’ve got out there 😀
Here’s The Setup, but it’s probably one of our worse renditions of that song (that night I finally understood I should NOT, EVER, try again to provide harmonies) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BM57hzLNKvQ
(That was the penultimate song in the set. I could barely feel my lips at the end of it. And then came Sell out.)and here’s the most arrogant thing I’ve ever done on stage (from an old 2007 gig, wow it’s been ages) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6exKPxOx1E

SamuMemberThe Day After!
Here I am, in the office, after more or less half an hour of sleep.Great night. Totally worth the 3 hour drive (up) and 4 hour drive (down) in heavy snow. No winter tyres of course and no goddamn plow on the highway. Anyway.
The venue was ridicolously small, which had the downside of making all songs sound like they’re played with a ton of compression and echo, but the plus side of standing at an arm’s distance from Dan and Aaron.
Suburban legends were awesome, I have to get my hands on their record (no merch booth… wtf?!)
RBF were great, playing a tight set with a few very welcome surprises (SAYONARA SENORITA!) and a handful from the new album (PS I hate you, Your gf sucks, Don’t stop skanking. No Asshole, no Dare you. Punisher was on the setlist but they dropped it and played In the pit instead).
Mental note, never, never again drink an imitation of redbull to stay awake while driving. That shit (combined with putting on snowchains soaking wet in the snow) gave me the worst tachycardia ever. -
