For those who might enjoy it (if you downloaded the last one, this one is MUCH better! It was recorded live at The Sad Cafe in Plaistow, NH. The show was called "SKAlloween" and featured our friends Threat Level Burgundy http://www.myspace.com/threatlevelburgundy , Ruckus! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ruckus/307497067069 , Youthful Minds http://www.facebook.com/pages/Youthful-Minds/105846922782202 & LAMP ATTACK! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lamp-Attack/217539297301
Feel free to download and spread it…. feel free to praise and criticize below.

The WindMemberCongratulations, man. Pretty good recording quality.
Do you only have one horn? You should probably get another for low-end.
Someone's vocals, I don't know if they're yours or the backup's, get pretty atrocious on the first track, but they're solid for the rest of the EP.
A bit of advice, though, is to try something adventuresome. The songwriting is pretty good, but your sound and style are common. I can't tell you what it is, but you just need that little tweak to make you your own. Not a gimmick, just… something, you know?
Overall I like it. Much better than your previous recordings. Bring in some more when you have it. -

Memberyeeeeeeeeeaaaaah It's my voice. They are that way on the first track because the tracks appear in chronological order and the venue gave us absolutely NO TIME to warm up our vocals… so after driving for two hours we had to rush in the cold to the stage to sound check in front of the audience and then immediately play… my voice likes to let a lot of things slide… but it NEEDS to be warmed up… lesson learned. It never used to matter when we'd open with Take Warning, but "Easy Ride" requires a little more vocal skill (it's pretty fucking high).
Yes we have one horn, we are consistently looking for more. but we're more or less in a suburbia of suburbia…. finding dedicated people horn players is a bittttttch…
I understand what you're saying with being adventurous. we are ever trying to do this, but hey, we're a (relatively) new band, hopefully the new songs we're working on will contain some new elements the will up the excitement.
thank you for listening and being honest about how you felt, feedback is a necessary step to improvement. I will definitely post the next CD that comes out!
