MemberSo Trev, is it as good as Rotten Tomatoes and the fans say it is?
I've been on the fence, but I'm becoming swayed very quickly.

The WindMemberI haven't seen it.
But first: Never EVER trust Rotten Tomatoes about anything. It's basically a trailer reviewing site. 90% of voters probably haven't seen the movie.
Apparently, it's the best super-hero film made ever, and I don't doubt it.Fun fact: RDJ will appear in the new Hulk movie as Tony Stark!

edit: and most all marvel characters are gonna be making appearances in the upcoming marvel movies. they're building a world around these movies for one bigass movie.
edit on an edit: i liked the movie so much that i shaved my goatee to look like tony stark's.

The WindMemberFun Facts/rumours:
Thor will make an appearance in Iron Man 2
This will lead into a Thor Movie
Simon Pegg and Alan Tudyk will star in Ant Man. This will be more of a comedy.
Then a Captain America film.
All characters are then said to appear together in an Avengers film.
Sam Jackson will appear in all films as Nick Fury; he's already appeared in Iron Man and will appear in the Incredible Hulk.Personally, if the Ant Man movie is going to star those two (I think Simon Pegg will be Hank Pym and Alan Tudyk will be Scott Lang) it will be really cool. And funny.

MemberI watched a decent version on the firefox movie site – the film was overall far more decent than I anticipated, but the film cut off immediately before the credits so I missed the Sammy cameo. Was it anything important, or just a bit of prep for the sequel?

Fuck yes on Sam Jackson being Fury. There could be no other one.

oh man… caddyshack, meatballs, lost in translation, life aquatic, roayl tannenbaums, rushmore, ed wood, groundhog day, stripes? come on man, bill murray goes WAY past ghostbusters into something a lot larger. and if you think he's not funny, just google snl's "presidential debate update" that aired last night(thursday). he's still one of the funniest men alive and it will be a sad day when he passes, right up there with mr. rogers and johnny cash.
