Seems like Japan dropped the ball on this one, it hasn&#039;t sold well over there despite high reviews. They&#039;d rather play another mini-game collection.

Yeah, it's swordfighting with Wiimote controls, it plays much like old beat-em-ups like Streets Of Rage or Final Fight. They also threw in a sort of overworld thing like GTA. It's all about getting money and killing assasins, as well as an extremely over-the-top story.

Unlike killer7, the player controls Travis Touchdown only. The game has a free roaming world,[4] allowing Travis to move around on foot or on his motorcycle, the "Schpel Tiger".[5] Game play is open-ended, with the concession that the player must kill the top ten assassins for the storyline to progress. There are numerous part time job side quests to earn money and gain additional weapons. The player also levels up through experience points.

Control is be handled through the Wii Remote and Nunchuk attachment, with the Remote controlling the katana beam and the Nunchuk moving Travis. Most attacks are performed using the "A" button, with certain other moves, including finishing strikes and sword lock breaks, executed by following on-screen instructions. Further, since the sword runs on batteries, the player has to shake the remote from time to time to recharge it.[6] While the sword does not follow the exact position of the remote, it is able to distinguish between different height levels and the angle of attacks. Successful execution of these moves provide additional chances for attacks. Travis has also been shown demonstrating professional wrestling maneuvers to subdue opponents, including an array of suplexes, done by manipulating both the Wii Remote and Nunchuck.

Shouldn't be difficult, it's about 15 hours of play.

That still doesn't really explain what type of game it is, but I guess you can just throw it in the free-roam/beat-em-up category.

It's like GTA's open ended world, but with beat'em up controls instead of shooting. That and it's more story centered and not AS wide-open as GTA.

Either way, it's pretty fucking gory.

Although the japanese and european versions have no blood in them and the US version does. They replaced it with black dust for us. Which isn't really the same.

ANy of you guys played Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles? I completed it with my friend on his Wii and it's damn good fun. Must buy if you like Resident Evil. And definetly look into it if you like shooting things.

Because 0 was released with the intent to fill in information that the first 4 games don't tell you.

It's a prequel that's suppost to be played after the knowledge of the other games has been learnt. It doesn't matter that much, but if you were starting out, that would be the perfect order to complete them.

1 and 2 were awesome cause Harmonix made them. The only bonus 3 has is that it has some kick ass punk songs on it. But it still looks ass ugly.

I saw a video comparing '3s & 7s' between RB and GH3 and GH really added a lot of stupid stuff.

Why do you say that? I completely disagree. The GH interface looks a LOT better. And the Rock Band version looks really easy considering its on expert. I'm pretty good at guitar hero and 3's and 7's is a real challenge on expert. That Rock Band version looks like it would cause me no problems.

Because they just threw in random notes in places where the guitar doesn't even play. It's just random button mashing.

GH is supposed to be about PRETENDING you're playing a guitar and rocking out, not pushing random buttons to music.

I think RB simulates that much better. You hit the notes when there are notes, and you only hit different buttons when the guitar plays a different note. It feels better, IMO.

Plus the drummer doesn't look like he was ripped right out of Chuck E Cheese.

Actually they programmed the characters specifically for each song so it looks like they're playing the song. The drummer is a bit stiff, but he still doesn't look like a robot.

But they aren't compatible on the PS3 cause Activision refuses to let the patch through to allow compatibility. Fuckheads.

So basically, if you had GH3 on the 360, you could just go out and buy the core RB game. But I think the bundle is a better bang for your buck.

I supported the PS1 because it really was better than the 64 and had a shit load of classic games, but man, they've gone so far downhill they're not even on my radar anymore.

Sony would have to make Blowjob Hero before I even consider buying a PS3 at this point. And it would still have to be less than $300.

No, they have no writers. Dave Letterman got a deal where they got a few writers back (which spilled over into Craig Ferguson's show)… But Conan, Leno, Stewart, and Colbert don't have any writers as far as anyone knows. They only came back because all non-writers would have otherwise lost their jobs.
