Member…….. And the new album is awesome.
I've been waiting for this since Hang Ups. It took a while, but Goldfinger is finally back.

MemberYeah, I listened to this last night and immediately went to check preorder prices. Amazon are doing it for £4.99 which I'll bet is an error so I might try and get in there quickly.

Rock it With IMemberWhile it does sound awesome! I can't stop myself from thinking it resembles of their old songs. Like same chord progression and vocals progression.
But whatever, I am in fact happy they have a new cd coming that sound more ska punk than their last album.
Although I will say I do love a few songs from Disconnection Notice.(Behind the Mask, Stalker, and Iron Fist) those are still very Goldfinger songs. The rest of em sucked…

The WindMemberBehind the Mask is an amazing song tainted by PETA.
I really like My Everything, too. -

MemberSo, yeah. Great GF album, I love 10 out of 12 of them (last two other than the bonus track are too preachy like most of the previous two albums).
Last album had a handful of great songs, but it didn't hold up well at all. The songs with horns were really good (despite them tainting 'Behind The Mask')

MemberI could lol on that gif all day… 😀
At first listen I wasn't so sure of the 2 songs on myspace, but they've started to grow on me already, so I guess that's a good sign for the album.

Memberit's a ska version of open your eyes(complete with the exact same chorus…just get up instead of wake up). and they're still animal liberation front supporting preachy fucks.

MemberYeah, Goldfinger has never really been about good lyrics. The first two (three if I'm generous) albums pass because the subjects are so generic. When they try to apply a message, it falls apart. Throw in generic music and you have the last album fuck up.

[/quote1206384155]At the risk of starting an argument I'd just like to say something. Jon, if I'd said this about something you liked you'd have gone crazy at me.

[/quote1206515908]okay. they're still preachy fucks and the song still sounds like a ska version of an older song..

Rock it With IMemberHandjobs for Jesus = one of the funniest songs I have heard in a long time. And one of the more colorfully structured GF songs ever.

MemberHis ego is WAY too big for that.
Plus John Feldmann and cleverness rarely ever go hand in hand.
