they don't piss me off so much as baffle me. they conducted that test in vegas, so why didn't those assholes just go to in-n-out? burger sucks ass, so having the whopper gone is all the more reason to go to in-n-out instead.

Well, around here. Even the ghetto parts (and there's no shortage of them) around here have at least 5 other burger places in the same area. If one place fucks up, we usually just have to swing a dead cat to find another place to get a burger.

actually, not where i am. there's a mc donalds and a wendy's close to each other, then there's a jack in the box a few miles down from that, and a few local joints here and there, but the nearest bk is about 20 minutes away, either direction you drive.

same with arby's. i get in the mood for a bigass roast beef sandwich, so i go there and they always get my order wrong. i go knowing full well they're going to fuck up my sandwich by putting some stupid shit like cheese or bacon on it, and they always do. so instead of enjoying my sandwich, i'm just pissed that i paid for something i know was going to suck.

Oh man, that's the worst. The best is going through the drive-thru, then only checking your shit AFTER you've left, THEN realize they gave you the wrong order. And you have to go aaaaaaaaaalllllllll the way back.

I could walk to Carl's Jr., KFC, Subway and A&W in 3 minutes. Then I could drive a mile up the street where there's a McDonalds, Taco Bell, Del Taco, Wienerschnitzel, Charo's Chicken and a new Arbies, but the only fast food I really like is In 'N Out…now that's a good 5 miles off the beaten path. The rest just give you the shits at 3am.

We really need a Taco Bell in our town, we used to have one, but it got replaced by Wendy's. Now the closest one is either an hour drive to ottawa, or about 45 min drive across the boarder.

Well when there hasn't really ever been an "Era of White Men Persecution", why would anything offend you guys? Plus I believe White Americans are just generally ignorant to the the truth of history. (sorry if that is a stereotype, but look at what most people think of us blacks). Black people take strong pride in knowing their complete history (generally speaking) and get offended when things are threatened. While White people tend to ignore their roots and the truth of history.

In the same breath though, a LOT of black people ignore some truths too. Like if you read American History before slavery came here, you will find out that America began trading with Europe and Africa (the Middle Passage I believe it was called?). And it was in Africa where the blacks were basically "kidnapped" and tied up. Brought to factories for health and strength inspections. Those that passed, would be sold to the highest bidder to again sold or traded to America or Europe and would be utilized as a slave. So in essence, Africa started the slavery era. Our own Black, African brothers started the whole thing. So why do we hold Whites at fault?

I am with you "whiteys" in feeling that the word Nigger can be used in many different contexts, and it shouldn't be frowned on so horrifically by my race if a white person said to me, "Word up my nigga!" I wouldn't be offended like most other Africans. I would see it as another way to say "hey dude" or "how you doin?" I mean hell, we use it amongst my race everyday and we take no offense until it's a white person saying it. Pretty hypocritical if you ask me.

But now if they ever came to me and said "you are a stupid dumb Nigger" or "we should hang you", shit like that I can understand being offensive and I would take offense to it. You're attacking my history as a black man, how can one not be offended?

I actually fear the day that white people begin to get offended by certain names or phrases. Why? I don't really know, it's just a feeling I have that it will just be a bad thing. It'll add too much conflict between people.

Back to me asking the other guy about his avatar, (I like that movie BTW), but there's just something about an image of a white guy with a swastika on his chest, kicking a black mans head on a curb over and over again that disturbs me. But oh well, we live in America, freedom of speech right?

As for the burger debate, my dad doesn't believe those BK commercials are real even though it says "Actual Customer on Hidden Camera" right on the screen! I rarely eat fast food, and I think I will definitely in the minority here, but when I get a hankerin' there is nothing better than a Jumbo Jack!

I personally only like Chicken in a Bisquit with the spray cheese. It's soooo bad for you but it tastes sooo good! I'm on a fast food strike right now. The only thing fast food-like thing I ate resently was some nasty catfish nuggets at HOB. Chris and his friend though it was tainted shrimp with mercury fried batter, it was that bad. I had to keep chasing each bite with alcohol.
