BradleystpMemberThat is what a lot of bands are doing now…Free website on MySpace. I hate it.
I miss a nice website with information, discographies, history, News, etc. MySpace sucks.

[/quote1242349777]I've noticed this, too. It's fucking bullshit, specifically because myspace is shit and it makes bands look "cheap" and amateurish. It's fine for unknown and new bands, but for bands that have been around for over a decade, it's ridiculous.

MemberI wonder why I could still see the original site for about a day when you guys were being redirected to myspace…
I'm being redirected now too. Cheap.

AdminKeymasterOnce again the Offical Board goes bye bye after only a month or two of being up. I'm sure the site will be back soon, can't see it been down for too long. If it is, i'll have to try and fill some gaps on this site.

MemberYeah, but MySpace and Facebook get way more traffic. And besides, they never updated their site anyway. If you're going to have your own site, it had better be damn good, but not good and confusing like the MUSE website…

MemberI think it gives me the feeling that the band cares more about interacting with their fans when they go out of their way to make an official site.
When they let myspace and facebook do all the work, it's just lazy.

MemberThat's true – I imagine most people buy their merch at gigs & festivals… or on ebay.

MemberI never need to go anywhere near RBF's various web exploits – if anything happens there, someone always posts it here within minutes.
Otherwise it entirely depends on the band and how good their site is (ie if it has something more to offer than facespace). -

[/quote1244689983]I do! I visit Big D, DKM, and SL's sites regularly. What bugs me about this is that MySpace and Facebook are blocked on my schools network, so I can't access the info until I get home. And I'm not home much lately! Every business has its own website, and isn't a band kind of a business after all?
