<p></div><div><span></span></div><div>All in all, there are only six tracks of unheard material, but the re-record of Hungry Like the Wolf is a thing of wonder. If you think Scott phoned it in on the re-records, listen to this. The only thing more fitting of his departure would be a re-record of something like Drunk Again.&nbsp;</div><div><span></span></div><div>Oh right, and that Down in Flames re-record is in there. It’s Down in Flames. And it’s <span>good<span>. Ryland absolutely kills it on drums, Aaron’s playing is on fire, the horns are crisp and it fits. The vocals still don’t work with how John Avila had them sounding, but that’s probably the only complaint I have, and it’s not nearly as obvious or jarring as it is on some other records.&nbsp;</span><span>Go buy Down in Flames and Hungry Like the Wolf. It’s two bucks for the two songs.</span></span></div><div><span><span></span></span></div><div><span>&lt;font color="#444444" face="’Helvetica Neue’, HelveticaNeue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif"&gt;&lt;/font&gt;<span>Other stuff:</span></span></div><div><span></span></div><div></p>

<li><span>Cannibal (2011): I have no idea why they re-recorded this one. Maybe that would explain them picking it up live for that little bit? It sounds essentially the same to me. The outro’s a little different…I think it takes a little longer for the guitar to come in, though I might be wrong. Some of the parts of the song are borrowed from the Monkeys version. It’s painfully obvious when the Monkeys guitar outro stops lining up with the rest of the re-recorded outro stuff.</span></li>
<li><span>The Kids Don’t Like It: Same vocals, horns, bass from skacoustic, if you want an idea of how it sounds. There’s some weird delay shit in the intro to make up for the lack of 90s record scratching effects (and yes, Aaron still does the wicky-wicky sound effect). It’s The Kids Don’t Like It. I wouldn’t recommend it as emphatically as Down in Flames, but it’s good. Scott’s trumpet solo still sounds like it was recorded with a trumpet made out of tin foil (what is with the instruments this band uses?).&nbsp;</span></li>
<li><span>Good Thing (ska version): Electric version of the skacoustic version. Different guitar and drums, that’s it…but I gotta say, these drums are really making me a Rabbit believer. Aaron’s gonna milk this version for all it’s worth, but there’s a reason for it…it’s a cool jam.&nbsp;</span></li>
<li><span>Brown Eyed Girl (skacoustic): A skacoustic song. It’s the re-record, but with acoustic guitar and different drums. Aaron’s gonna milk this version for all it’s worth because somebody, somewhere, tolerates this cover.</span></li>
<li><span>Oh and the S.R. from Live! In Concert! sounds way better than it does on the DVD…almost as if they took the time to properly mix it or something. Can’t fix the guitar, but if you’re looking for something&nbsp;salvageable&nbsp;from that DVD/more S.R., here it is.</span></li>

It sounds way different. All the drums sound echo-y, and the vocals have some kind of effect too. I heard the difference immediately.
