      Just saw them for 3 shows in 3 days in Seattle, Vancouver BC, and Portland. They were really, really good. I thought a lot of songs sounded a lot better with sax. Even though I really missed Scott, I think it was the best I’ve seen them.

      Funny story related to it haha

      I was pregaming as I was getting ready and pretty drunk by the time I was putting the finishing touches on the costume. The last thing I went to add was the fake mutton chops I ordered online. I took them out and went to put them on my face and realized that they were not self-adhesive, which wasn’t a possibility I had considered. With it being too late, and me being too drunk, to go and get spirit gum or something like that I ended up going to the convenience store next to my apartment looking for any way to stick them to my face as they were necessary to the costume. Then I ended up super gluing the mutton chops to my face. Pretty awesome and totally worth it haha.

      lol yeah
      I drunkenly researched it before putting it on though and found that you can pour nail polish remover on the skin and it sort of unbonds the glue, which worked pretty well. Only problem was that part of it ripped off a little beforehand, so I had a bit of blood loss from taking that part off and I still have a tiny little mark from it as I basically took a small chunk out of my chin haha. Other than that taking them off wasn’t too bad, although I did get a tad impatient doing it.

      It’s definitely a weird feeling to wake up, still drunk, with fake mutton chops superglued to your face lol.

      The reason why it’s dead is because nobody wants to go on a forum where all the sarcastic asshole members do is bash the band, its songs and its members again and again.

      See, I think that attitude is a bit rediculous.  You are just looking at text on a computer screen.

      Getting insulted/pissed off/etc by the internet is kinda like walking out into public then punching yourself in the face.

      Have you been on a band message board? Ever? These boards are pretty tame, we can’t just sit down and blindly worship everything the band sucks. Especially if those choices include putting Why Do All Girls Think They’re Fat? on an album.

      I remember someone arguing that “Why do all girls think they’re fat” was a ripoff of “I love guys in bands”.

      Actually “controversy” is too big of a word… I didn’t in any case want to imply there is any issue between RBF and the Scholars (Aaron even played in the Scholars reunion…)

      I don’t think I’ve ever heard that song, so I listened to it.

      I don’t really hear a similarity, though now I’ve got something much better to listen to every time Why Do All Girls Think They’re Fat? comes on.
