I am always looking for new Ska bands to check out so I thought I would start a thread and share a few newer ska albums I have been checking out and was hoping some others might join in so I would have some new music to listen to.

Last Martyrs of a Lost Cause
-Not sure if people remember the band Long Shot Hero or not but this is their lead singers new band. The album I have been listening to a lot of is from '08 and called 'Sunrays to Starlight.' Highlights..Don't Take it Personal and Another Rainy Night

      Murphy's Kids
-Murphy's Kids are a ska band from Virginia. For some reason they remind me of older RX Bandits (which is better than reminding me of current RX Bandits….) Their latest album Departures just came out a little while ago on Community Records. You can download a 3 song sampler off their website. Highlights…..Yellowstone (sweet song)….. I miss you (Alex Levine)

      Hog Hoggidy Hog
-Ska band from Cape Town, South Africa. Recently came out with an album called 'Method to the Madness'. Some pretty catchy stuff on this album. This is a recent find of mine. Haven't gotten a chance to listen to the album more than a few times through yet but it is growing on me. Highlights…..Jimmy Potz

Probably my favorite ska song from a band no one listens to.

Camper Van Beethoven? I never heard of them but that's a good sounding song. I'll check out the rest of their music when I get a chance.

As for Corny wanting more ska bands to check out: There is a thread on the Gen Discussion page that has some ska bands you might not know. [link=http://www.reelbigfish.info/forum-t19639.html]HERE is the link[/link] .
