RBF just tweeted that they'll be on Warped tour 2010….. lame.

      dear RBF,

while I understand your reasons for going on warped 2010 I must speak my mind. you guys are never going to be tight with the hipster kids. and as fun as I'm sure warped is, it really screws over those fans that like spending $20 for an hour and a half as apposed to $30 for a half hour greatest hits speed run. to be honest, It kinda feels like going on warped with all these kids is selling yourselves a bit short. you guys can handle full summer tours as headliners and I don't think there's a fan out there that would rather see you do a 30 minute warped set than a summer headline set that clocks in at three times that.

I was really, really hoping to come see you guys this summer but I just don't feel like dropping $30 so I can fight traffic, parking and emo kids just to get a 30 minute set and an autograph (maybe). it's just a shame. good luck anyway.

I'm not a fan of warped only because of the gigantic crowd factor, sunburns and heat exhaustion but that's just me. I'm a wimp.

From the standpoint of a band, I think warped tour is good. Yeah, RBF have an awesome following, but warped allows more exposure for ANY band. What's wrong with that?

it's a fine idea, and I understand their reasons for doing it. I would just rather they do a proper summer tour

I don't think Warped gives much exposure anymore. There are no bands that seem to get 'big' by being on Warped anymore.

That and the good bands stopped attending a long time ago.

Well, I doubt they're trying to get big…they already are, but it doesn't hurt to pick up a few more fans along the way. I'm not sure what it's like when warped is going on in your neck of the woods, but it's a pretty big deal in mine. I just hate sunburns and dehydration. Most established alcoholic kids seem to take it in stride though, lol.

I was really disapointed when I first read it. You guys make some good points though, I guess it's ok…

Andrew W.K.'s playing as well. I'll be there.

That's pretty tight. I'll probably go now.

When I saw them yesterday, they had the biggest crowd of the whole show and everyone sang along the whole time. Between them, Andrew WK and Dillinger, it was totally worth it.
