      LIST OF RARITIES

      – Updated June XX, 2012-
      – Subsequent updates, corrections, and changes will be made in the following posts-

      Excluded from this list:
      – All secret tracks (because they‘re on the albums. If you need help separating them from listed tracks, let me know.)
      – Everything available on Viva La Internet (because you can buy it at the RBF store)
      – All the digital bonus tracks for A Best of Us (they are cheap and still new. Feel free to share among yourselves if you must, but they will remain unlisted for the time being.)

      Notable changes since last time:
      – “In the Pit (Vinyl Version)” has been replaced with a high quality CD rip. No more terrible vinyl rip!
      – Black Casper’s “Molehills Out of Mountains” has been released digitally (for $3) since last time, so it has been removed from the list.
      – To reduce the amount of links, everything is packed together by category.
      – Added Lone Raspberry to the affiliated acts
      – Included Save Ferris in the affiliated acts… because I have their rarities and figured this was a good place to share.
      – All live bootlegs and concerts will be added later. I am currently having some trouble uploading them. Please be patient.

Formatting is a bit screwy, but I can’t fix it… Trying to use “Edit” makes it worse. So, I’m sorry about the frilly bits. Live shows soon to come.

I got a question.  I click on the link, for example for “Jeffries Fan CLub” discography and it sends me to this website in some foreign language, with what looks like download options.  I just clicked on the one that looked to be the most likey to be “download now” and hoped for the best. any tips?

Using Google Translator on the page helped. Basically though just click that green download button after you do the captcha. Also, uncheck the box on the next page (something about a Yandex Bar) because at first I kept just downloading the stupid Yandex bar thing, not the .rar files.

Sounds good, just saw you had the dates for all the other live shows. Just looked it up, the Seattle show was 12/14/11, the Vancouver one (the good quality recording of the bunch) was 12/15/11 and the Portland show was 12/16/11

For some reason when I first tried to download it, with the checkbox checked I clicked on the link and it downloaded some “Yandex” shit. Then I unchecked the box and it worked after that. Not sure if anyone else has had that problem though…

That’s odd. Maybe I oughta migrate these to some other site? I figured Narod would be good for protecting the links, but it just seems to be confusing everyone.

Nah, this site worked great after that, and I think I was the only one that it happened to. Probably my bad. I’m guessing this site will be the best at ensuring the links stay valid for a while.

I randomly started looking at old ‘Save Ferris’ videos on YouTube. Turns out that their rarities that I already posted are not as thorough as I thought. So … here is an update of Save Ferris rarities. The old link is being killed in favor of this new one.
Specifically, I realized that their 96 EP (“Introducing Save Ferris”) features different versions of the songs that appeared on the 97 LP (“It Means Everything”) and its singles. This includes the two songs that didn’t make it on the LP. What I thought were “EP exclusives” actually have re-recorded versions that appear as b-sides.
Confusing, but someone has to do it.

      MUSIC VIDEOS (ADDENDUM)
      – As always, the password is REELBIGFISHDOTINFO –

Brown Eyed Girl – The briefly leaked music video for “Brown Eyed Girl.” Nobody knows what it is, and RBF deletes all mention of it in public places. So, shuusssh! And don’t put it on Youtube it!
NOTE: This will be deleted if requested or released by the band. Though I like to help share their rare material, I do not want to supersede their release plans. But really, they oughta blame the guy that put it on YouTube in the first place. The bastard.

      UPDATES

      Launch Magazine No. 23 – http://narod.ru/disk/57242063001.b0efd2a021436a91ae082ffdcd4ee60e/RBFIRDLM.rar.html

Includes an MP3 of the instrumental of “Brand New Song” and the ISO disc image of the entire CD-ROM. (If you use the right software to burn this ISO to a blank disc, it will make an exact copy of the original.)

Also, wtf can’t we embed pics anymore? I mean, besides the obvious.

Hey AngryO, did you ever get the Vancouver and Seattle shows separated? (Mostly curious about the Vancouver one, because the audio’s actually pretty decent)

Also I recorded RBF and SL in San Francisco, but my audio recorder is in storage right now, so it was just on my iPhone. If anyone wants that though, I can post it on here.

    • #29018

Post it 🙂 I’m sure someone will download it 🙂

From the recent tour I assume?

No worries. I’ll post the other one on here at some point too, the quality is pretty bad though. I’m mostly just looking to get the Vancouver show, because the sound quality on that one is actually decent.

Ah, balls. I keep forgetting about babysitting this. Are the links even working anymore?

If anyone has the Littlest Man Band stuff still knocking around, i’d eternally grateful for a share! My laptop fried itself and i lost EVERYTHING 🙁 I have a legit CD of Better Book Ends thankfully, but I’ve done some seriously significant googling and can’t find the Live on KUCI release or any of the demos/practices or Doo Dee stuff. Also, if it’s not too much to ask, if the collection of Scott solo stuff can be re-uploaded, that would also be magnificent 🙂

God I hope someone sees this!

      Thanks guys!
