Member^LOL. They removed the '!' from their name, by the way. and no, I haven't heard it. But I HAVE heard it's a wannabe Sgt. Pepper.
Since I consider The Fratellis the new Supergrass, their new album needs to be like 'In It For The Money'. Slower but powerful, still has the variety from the debut, and still perfect.

MemberActually, on YouTube I found a bunch of live performances of new songs that might or might not be on the new album. Sounds good so far.

Memberon the "edgy at brixton" dvd, they played an acoustic version of "ella's in the band", which i'm gonna assume is one of their new songs… and it's good.

MemberChris sent me 3 songs via e-mail. One was a sub-par version of Cuntry Boys & City Girls. PLEASE tell me the US version isn't getting that or something.

Memberoh no, that's just the demo. if anyone wants the other tracks, just join the budhill singles club on the fratelli's website. they have a lot of tracks on there, and they're releasing a lot more.

A Heady Tale is my favorite so far. Have you heard it yet, Chris?

MemberIt's not quite the same, but it's just as good.
I was right comparing it to Supergrass' I Should Coco/In It For The Money progression.
They're both great, but almost complete opposites.

MemberAnd the album is listed as 11 tracks in most places… The US might be getting a gimped version again. *Sigh*
My tracklist is this:
1. My Friend John
2. A Heady Tale
3. Shameless
4. Look Out Sunshine!
5. Stragglers Moon
6. Mistress Mabel
7. Jesus Stole My Baby
8. Babydoll
9. Tell Me A Lie
10. Acid Jazz Singer
11. Lupe Brown
12. Milk & MoneyI've seen tracklists without 'Jesus Stole My Baby' on it. Just like some places didn't receive 'Cuntry Boys & City Girls' and some places didn't get 'Ole Black 'N' Blue Eyes' on their copies of 'Costello Music'…
They really need a new label. :/

MemberI can't understand why certain regions would be deprived of songs released elsewhere. It really makes no sense.

MemberUsually, they just give different regions bonus tracks instead of taking actual album tracks off the album.
That makes slightly more sense, though. Not like The Fratellis don't have the songs to spare, either. Labels are just too greedy.

I'm liking this album. This, Weezer's red album, and the Foxboro Hot Tubs have made this quite a fun year for music so far.
