If anyone wants a Kraytracker invite let me know. I have way too many invites and no one to send them to. Just post your email in this thread.

Kraytracker.. its a private torrent community kinda deal… like Oink was but on a much smaller scale. All the music on it is non-RIAA music.

k those ones are all sent… it kinda sucked going around the linked emails deal, so i may have screwed shit up while removing all the code from the thing…so if you didn't get it, let me know, i have lots more

also @ theplug… i think i recognize your email as the person who invited me to oink before the old board went down, so im really glad i could (kinda) repay the favor, even though kray can't really compare to oink

i used to have an account but then i lost it somehow. i only used it to get a digital version of western addiction's cognicide. most of the other stuff i wanted was unavailable.

I didn't get anything yet. I did get a bunch of spam tho.

you are on an odd email server that i've never heard of… that might be the problem. They tend to block certain email servers to stop people from registering from those 15 minute email accounts. try giving me a gmail or a yahoo email addy

I stopped downloading a long time ago when my firewall went apeshit on everything I tried to do, so I could only check emails and use the web – no downloads, no CS, no nothing.

Since then, I've gotten a new internet connection and would like to give this a shot again. Pretty please?

Also, what's the best way to actually download the files once you have the torrent? Because I remember having noob problems with torrents before…

i like utorrent myself because it's the simplest and has the best features.

as far as your problems with firewalls, what you'd most likely have to do is set up the router to throw a port for the torrent program you're going to be running. it's not hard, at all. just enter in your router's IP, go to the section with open ports (normally it's a games section or a programs section or somethign similar), enter in the port you want to use and the program taht'll be using it. once that's done, tell the torrent program to connect through that newly opened port and you're home free.

There's a good guide for opening ports on your firewall here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial128.html

It's written for ZoneAlarm but it's the same principle for every firewall.

If you have any invites left, can you send one to a2middleton@hotmail.com ? Thanks!

when i was at my prime, i used azureus first, and utorrent as a back up… some torrents just went faster with utorrent. weird.

you know even with throwing a port for it, i always had trouble getting azureus to function properly. never got why people loved it so much.

utorrent is working fine for me! I've downloaded the 2 Interpol albums I don't have as well as a(/the?) Pendulum album.

Can you find the new Story of The Year Black Swan album on this Kraytracker?

I still have a ton more if any one needs one.

Also, as far as that Story of the Year album, they must be signed to a Record Company that uses the RIAA, Kray doesn't have it.
