Just wanted to fill you all in-especially Amy, since she didn't get to go.

Big D was great, but what I was afraid would happen did. The DKM fans weren't big fans and started chanting "Let's go Murphys" during their set. Big D took it like pros though; they probably have had to deal with that for a while. Right when DKM started, some guy fell and crashed right into my knee. It pushed out sideways and popped twice. It didn't hurt too bad (although I couldn't put a whole lot of weight on it and I had been drinking), so I stayed the whole show, which was also great.

The next morning, I couldn't stand up right when I woke up, but I ran volleyball practice that morning and it loosened up as I tried to put weight on it. Since then, it varies between extremely painful to mildly annoying. It's never been pain free.

So I need your opinions. Should I go get it checked out? I don't want to go to the doctor if it's nothing, but how long would it be sore if it was just a mild sprain? Anyone with previous knee injuries have any advice? Thanks!

For sprains, the pain can last a few weeks. Best thing for it is ice and take ibuprofen, like Motrin or Advil. It's more of an anti-inflammatory, unlike Tylenol. That's about all I know with my experiences.
That sucks you got hurt though 🙁

I hate when people are rude to the opening acts. Even if they suck.

Thanks Amy, I guess I'll hold off going to the doc and see if it gets better (it hasn't yet!) I just hope it doesn't affect my snowboarding next weekend!
