Storytime kids. Grab a drink, find a comfy spot and gather around the fire. It's gonna be a good one
So on my myspace I posted a status of how women suck yadda yadda yadda… a random rant.
My ex messages me saying, is this about me?
the story then continues with facts:
Me:
Well, you are the one that still blows my mind on the "why?!?" But yeah, pretty much every girl I have talked to and attempted to build something with in the past 2 years, have been nothing but letdowns.
Her:
I'm really sorry, Seth. Maybe I'm retarded, and maybe I'll kick myself for it later, but I feel like I did the right thing..
Me:
Not that I am trying to beg for you back, I've come to terms with us not being together, but what the hell happened? what went wrong? it felt like it was a really good thing…

If you were dating a Jewish girl, and she told you there was no future there because you don't have common beliefs, you would probably be more understanding, right?
I was raised in a family where divorce was a result of unequal morals/religious beliefs. I've been fed religion my whole life, and at the age where I could make my own decisions on the beliefs I wanted to adopt, I chose to follow Christ. It's not simply a belief, it's a daily struggle for me to make decisions to follow Christ. I need my significant other to understand my struggles and to be there as a source of accountability and support. I never want my kids to ask me the question "Mommy, why isn't Daddy going to church with us?" I know it's a lot to have on my mind so early in a relationship, but I have always felt that if I didn't see a future with someone, I shouldn't be casually dating them.
Does that make sense?
Me:
Well, never once did I show any signs of not being interested in sharing and learning the same beliefs… Once again, I asked you if I could go to church with you on Easter, which you cordially ignored until 2 or 3 weeks after you broke up with me.
People do have the ability to change their lifestyles for the right reason. (Example: my Aunt married a Jewish man and converted and is happily raising a family with him for over 20 years now.)
But whatever, I'm done. I'm glad to finally know that my true vision of a "devote Christian", is represented by "you" cause now I am even more confused.
I always thought that most religions (especially Baptist/Christian), are willing and capable of accepting and welcoming when someone shows interest.
I think you're using your "religious" life, as an excuse towards me for faulting at your own personal happiness.
Her:
I was more than ready to accept you coming to church with me. I didn't push the issue because I was afraid you would think I was pushing my beliefs on you. And when I asked if you could come, your answer was "Well, I do have to work…" and when I asked you if you could go in late, you said "if I went, I don't think there's much they could say about it." And that was it, you never brought it up again.
It's something I can't ask you to understand. You may never understand it, and for that I'm sorry.
Me:
No, you weren't. You showed no signs of interest that I was interested, you just ignored it.
I said that I could ask to come in later that day to work. In which I did ask and was told it was ok for me to come in a bit later so I could go.
And I know I told you they were ok with it. But yet, you never invited me to go.
I said "there's not much they can say.." because I meant, work never says no to someone who involves wanting to go to church instead of work.
My true belief that I have held since the morning you broke up with me, is that you broke up with me because you wanted to remain in your promiscuous lifestyle, rather than be treated with respect for the person you are (or so I saw)…
How can an addiction to a sinful lifestyle, coincide with such a "devote life"? Apparently that is being Christian, eh?
But, you're right, i don't understand.
I wish you the best. Bye
Her:
How dare you?!
You don't know the first thing about me and the decisions I've made.
I am appalled. Goodbye.
The end.
Hundred bucks says next week she'll be all over my nuts again.. Cuz that's what women like right? an asshole that treats them like shit, right?
LOL
Needless to say, she makes religious people sound like retards. (and I am sorry to anyone here that is strongly religious, but it's a free will world we live in and I can say and think how i want, and I respect others choices fully) But when she says, "I need my significant other to understand my struggles and to be there as a source of accountability and support.".. What other struggles do you have other than the normal daily life struggles, like: How to make money to afford basic necessities, how to enjoy the day, how to spend your money, who to interact with, what people make you happy, who to ignore, who to love, who to hate, etc.. does Jesus talk to these people? am I missing something? I've never heard his fucking voice…
My idea on what her struggles are, is what guy should she fuck tonight?
ugh, FUCK HER.
