Ferret

I've heard they can be violent.

They shit a lot.

I had one for a short period of time. They require lots of attention, they have the attitude of a cat and have to be disciplined like a dog, and when they get scared or excited they let out a bad smell, so if you get one make sure you get their stink glands removed, otherwise your living space, hands and clothes will smell like you've been mildly sprayed by a skunk…that's all I can think of.

I once had a friend who threw his ferrets against the wall.

Their not bad animals seriously, my tid-bit of info is just personal experience. They have quite a personality, so if you're looking for amusement…by all means, this is your animal!

Stink glands?

Yeah, kinda what like skunks have. I don't think that would be the exact term, but they have glands that produce a foul smell, and you can get them removed.

a buddy of mine had like..4, i think…they pretty much roamed the apartment and did their own thing. no bad incidents with them and they were generally pretty friendly.

fuck local laws. most of that is to protect the ecosystem anyways so if you get sick of the fucker, just kill it instead of letting it go into the wild and you've beaten the system by acting responsibly and yet going against the law.
