Is it real?

SamuMemberI believe it is real. I like the 2 new songs, I think they will work great in his 'big solo project'.

bentrippinMembersweet. alright this is what you do:
1. make sure you are running firefox and not ie.
2. go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006 to for the video download helper extension.
3. install the extension.
4. go to http://scottklopfenstein.ning.com/ and play at least a second of the songs you want to download
5. you will see a new icon for the download helper in the navigation tool bar between the home button and the address bar (i think it may be in the status bar if you're on a mac).
6. if you click the little down arrow next to it a list of the songs will appear. click on each one to download.i wasn't familiar with these new songs. very cool stuff.

your school not letting you install firefox is really something strange but not unusual. it's quite a bit more stable and html compliant than ie.

I bet we're not the only ones who were ever hit by this thought. I came to believe that he and Aaron just don't get along when composing. Which is a big pity. -

Memberso, when I asked scott bout the "Musical" he was writing and if that was still on he replied "the new stuff is for the musical. it will not be a musical in the traditional sense. what i am working on is going to be a tad different. i can't get into how at this moment because i am not sure how to explain it to other people yet. it's like a dream that you can't quite remember, but you can feel like it was a good one."

Memberso for those of you who haven't been reading here's the new big announcement:
"hi everyone,
a few weeks back i was responding to a tread that was posted by "littlestlass" that asked about the song writing process and my current methods of creating compared to my past process. so i began to think back to my days in California, working in the warehouse that i wrote most of the LMB music. it was a fantastic creative space. it was dark and usually filled with smoke. random instruments and cables everywhere you looked. ashtrays that seemed to never get emptied. fast food bags with food still in them from God knows when. it was glorious and it was my head on earth.
i also began to listen back to the music that i made in that time period that was never recorded properly because of one reason or another. there were so many songs that captured a thought or feeling in time, that didn't get attention because they didn't fit in the scheme of Better Book Ends. songs that were meant to go onto the 2nd LMB record that never got recorded. and some songs that were impossible to do live with the band, so were pushed off to the side of my mind.
so, at the risk of being to nostalgic i have decided to record or re-record these songs while i am in the process of writing my next record. these songs are a part of my path as a songwriter. not to mention the path of life it's self.
some of these songs celebrate the smaller moments in life. tiny awakenings of the spirit. commercials of the ever expanding soul, if you will.
those of you who like to dig for rare tunes will be familiar with a few of these songs and might have fallen in love with the older demos, so i will include the originals if they still exist.
so that's what has been on my mind. i am hoping to get cracking on this right away now that i am home for a bit. i will keep you guys updated with pics and blogs about how it is going.
be good to yourself and to those around you,
scott"
