      First of all, just want to say Happy Thanksgiving to all the US folks on the board. Hope you all had a great long weekend! Mine turned out OK, although it started pretty shitty.

      I knew I had to be at my parent's early on Thursday, so I went to get some water at about 11:00 Wed. night so I could go to bed. I stepped in a HUGE puddle of water in my kitchen. After mopping it up, I found it was coming from under my sink. After calling a plumber, he found it was coming from the unit next door, which has been repo'ed so there is no one there. The building manager had to call "a friend" who could break in next door so the plumber could fix the leak. Needless to say, I did not get to sleep until about 2 am.

      Anyway, I did get some great food, so it wasn't all bad. Just trying to get the musty smell out of my kitchen now!

      i lived that kind of event -but just the opposite of it- one month ago…

      Water started leaking from the spotlight which was embedded in the ceiling at 5 am…we rushed out of our flat & checked the flat upstairs…knocked the door & saw that nobody was at home…after that, we checked the water counter, which turned like hell…we closed the valve & returned to our flat…we stood awake to 10 am just to clean up the water that came from upstairs…

      It sucks hard for sure…hope there is no damage caused by it…except the smell..

      I've had the same problems when I lived in my apartment. It sucks!

      I had a decent Thanksgiving. It was a two day party at my place. Everyone drank while I constantly cooked. I discovered I cook better when I'm a little buzzed 😀
      We let the turkey in the house for a bit so he knew what cooked turkey smelled like, and then I took the kids shooting out back.

      Shooting back behind the house…in our backyard. I'd post a pic to explain that too, but I know some faggot will probably give me crap for letting my kids shoot a gun.

      Since we are on the topic, I've gone through quite a few shooting practices, gun safety courses, got my Handgun Safety Certification through the California Department of Justice and all my guns are locked in a gun safe WITH trigger locks on all of them. I'm no where near being irresponsible about it….so don't go there.
