      How is it that jrock has more posts than I do, but has less stars? Is there something I'm not understanding, or is it just a glitch?

      It seems you randomly get a star within a set amount of posts. Once you hit 10 it doesn't even matter anymore.

      Right, stars are awarded for a number of things.

      The amount of posts you make, how long they are, news comments, chatbox comments, how many threads you created have been deleted (none) etc… It takes into account pretty much everything, even how long you've been on the site.

      The same thing happened with me and Amy and with me and the admin and I realized that it's not just about post count.
