I only have 12 days of school left until I graduate high school (June 12th). I really want it to be summer because I'm getting sick of school stuff. Also my birthday is coming up (June 7th). Woo hoo! :)

I'm going to University of Oregon in Eugene. I really love it down there (except the hippies) and my dad lives in Eugene and he's super cool so I'll be able to hang out with him more and he'll probably be moving after freshman year but he wants to keep his condo so I'll actually be able to live someplace nice.

I love Eugene. I've been there once and it's soooo beautiful…but good luck with the hippies.

Which kind of hippies are we talking about?

    • #11627

Probably the hairy, stinky kind that wear flowy tie-dye all the time. Just a guess though, never been to Oregon.

yep, you're pretty much right on with that guess. There's a pretty big hippie clique there and my dad is trying to get me to go to this weird hippie festival thing out in the middle of nowhere outside of Eugene and he was trying to get me to want to go by showing pictures of ugly nude women there. that was pretty awkward…

      "Dad? WTF?"

I'd think if he was that he'd be using pictures of better looking women. I think my dad just loves to make me feel super awkward.

I said it in another thread, but have fun! I think you should have sex with your date, have someone take pictures, then mail them to your dad. That would turn the tables and make him feel super awkward! !lol

P.S. Sorry if that was too much!

Tommorrow is my last day of school, it's actually kinda sad because I have tons of friends from drama and I'm not going to college with any of them.

My girlfriend was a nympho our whole senior year but we didn't have sex on our prom night. I guess at least we can still go down as the only couple to have sex during school hours in the gym (they never patroled that area, of course, I live in Iowa, so really, who does anything cool here) Hope your prom went better than mine, I could've won a TV at the "After Prom" but I was too busy not having sex. Damn I hate that bitch…

I never went to prom, but I did go to mid-winter with a "friend", and that sucked ass.

In less than 24 hours I'll be a high school graduate. It's so weird. I'm really gonna miss my friends… a lot.

If all goes well and I get the right marks, I'll be in England studying economics next year, whereas my friends will be dotted around the country or still be back in Brussels. If I don't end up staying in touch and visiting/being visited by them every so often then I won't consider them as truly having been my friends.
Fuck, when I moved to Belgium I lost contact with almost everyone I knew in England and I haven't lost a single moment of sleep over it.

When I graduated, most people I knew went to prison and will be out anywhere between 2010 and 2016.

Most of the people I knew are either homeless, dead, junkies, married and unhappy, piece of shit phonies, or have left the province.

In my experience, I have to agree with the first part, but not so much with the second. I'm still way closer to the best friends I had in high school, even though two now live in Pennsylvania and one lives in Alabama. Of the 3 that still live local, we still hang out all the time. Just went to the Angel game with my friend Amber who I've known since age 7.

Wait, does that count as a high school friend? !mistrust We did go to the same high school.

But the friends who fuck you over the worst are usually the ones you've known the longest.

It seems like, over time, you lose touch with most people which is gonna suck because a lot of my friends are really cool.

I graduated though, so now I never have to sit in some boring high school class ever again (I get to sit in boring college classes now). I'm so excited I can finally use college ruled paper without feeling like a poser.

I went to the graduation of the high school I coach at today. It was freakin' HOT! Anyway, if you can't imagine not seeing the people in your class ever again, imagine being a teacher or a coach. Every year we have to experience that feeling. !sad
