Warped tours are not that great in my opinion. A bunch of asshole fans, gather around to support their band, and talk shit about the other ones, mosh, get drunk and lose their shoes somewhere on the grounds and accuse you of stealing them…fun fun!

…I'd rather go see RBF when they are playing a local show, which is guaranteed at least once a year in my neck of the woods.

Amen girlfriend! I do agree, though, that we in SoCal are very lucky that we don't have to go to these crappy festival shows in order to get our RBF fix. They do play here quite frequently! !lol

How do you know when all the bands are playing?

There's a big blow up schedule thing back by the main stages with all the times for the day. I'm not sure if each location has it in a different area, but that's where mine was.

I thought Ore Ska Band was great! Good energy. Just the novelty of seeing an all girl Japanese ska band was worth taking my time for..

I heard about them and really want to see them.

It's where the Home Depot Center is. Halfway between Long Beach and the South Bay. Actually, I think they consider themselves South Bay, but they are the extreme south end.

Well, I've had a back up for some time but it's a gas hog. 🙁 Costs $120.00 to fill up.

We call it Sky. 🙂 It's white on top and the rest of the body is baby blue. The previous owner took a white spray paint can and painted the sides, so it looks like wind swept clouds. Either way, I can't drive it.

I usually go alone, and just meet up with friends. I just know they'll be playing more shows closer to home towards the end of the year, that's their pattern so I'll go to a closer show. 🙂

I go to shows by myself all the time too. Like you Amy, I think they will plan some "hometown" shows after the Warped tour wraps up. Those are more fun anyway; smaller venues and they get to play longer!

I loved it. It was so fun. I got to talk to Aaron three times and met all the guys and got a couple things signed by everyone. During their show I got to the front and center right in front of Aaron and it was awesome, although I couldn't skank because I was constantly being pushed up against the front bar thing. The songs they played were all good, but the only one that I was really sad that it got left out was She Has a Girlfriend Now. Also I wish they could've done some banter.

I found some videos on youtube of RBF playing at the show I went to. If you check my pictures you can tell that this guy was really close to me. You can see Mike Soprano playing. Also, if you watch the video you can hear how horribly bad everybody (including me) was at singing. Also there was some annoying people behind me.

I was there. They fucking owned that stage. Also, got to watch Ryland and Derek play some rock band, pretty fuckin' epic. I'm in the picture of the crowd sitting behind the fence on the far right just dead from walking around for 8 hours.
