You know, this is a fucking trip!!!

I've been going through alot of shit lately…moving, going to court, mediation, etc. Anyways, I'm in my new place now and I accidently left the garage door open that goes to the inside of the house. I came back in, from outside and was surprised to see 2 birds inside of the house. I stepped aside to let them fly out, and they did.

My friend Terry called me just to say hi, so I was telling her about the birds. She said " ya know that means something, but I'm not sure. Go online and google it".

SO, I hop on the computer now and decide to check the board first..low and behold Trev, you go and post this. I wonder what's going to happen. I've become very superstitious lately…maybe I'm just going crazy.

My mind is wild when it comes to horror. I love it and it chills my core.

Well, I discovered the "important news" yesterday. I stepped outside my front door and saw smoke and flames about a mile away, then had the shit scared out of me by the water dropping planes flying so low to the ground…fucking birds.

You live that close to Sierra Madre/Arcadia? Did you used to or is that just your new place? Fires are scary!

No, there was another fire that was burning near where I live that hardly got any coverage. Thankfully Lake Mathews is nearby, so those planes didn't have to travel far for water. 🙂

Shocking. Usually any fire gets a ton of coverage. I guess if no houses are threatened, they don't feel like they need to report about it. Glad everything is OK though! !lol

Yeah, I read online that it was a "controlled" fire to save the endangered Kangaroo rat? They were supposed to do it last friday, but changed their mind and did it on Monday. I'll try and find the link.

      Edit- Here's the link, http://www.mydesert.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080424/NEWS01/80424002/0/NEWS01

They didn't do it on friday as they planned, they did it on Monday instead and it did get a little out of control but not for long. It's the stupidest reason ever to start a fire…over a fucking endangered rat!! I swear I've killed a few of them before.

How does fire save an endangered animal?

    • #10966

I was in a bar and a bat flew in. The bat died…

Yeah. Thrive after fires? Wow, way to go, genius reporter. Can to explain why?

Because they are unholy animals of Satan that thrive amongst the carnage of fiery death.

      This one's my favourite:

A man went to a hotel and walked up to the front desk to check in. The woman at the desk gave him his key and told him that on the way to his room, there was a door with no number that was locked and no one was allowed in there. Especially no one should look inside the room, under any circumstances. So he followed the instructions of the woman at the front desk, going straight to his room, and going to bed.

The next night his curiosity would not leave him alone about the room with no number on the door. He walked down the hall to the door and tried the handle. Sure enough it was locked. He bent down and looked through the wide keyhole. Cold air passed through it, chilling his eye. What he saw was a hotel bedroom, like his, and in the corner was a woman whose skin was completely white. She was leaning her head against the wall, facing away from the door. He stared in confusion for a while. He almost knocked on the door, out of curiosity, but decided not to.

This disinclination saved his life. He crept away from the door and walked back to his room. The next day, he returned to the door and looked through the wide keyhole. This time, all he saw was redness. He couldn’t make anything out besides a distinct red color, unmoving. Perhaps the inhabitants of the room knew he was spying the night before, and had blocked the keyhole with something red.

At this point he decided to consult the woman at the front desk for more information. She sighed and said, “Did you look through the keyhole?” The man told her that he had and she said, “Well, I might as well tell you the story. A long time ago, a man murdered his wife in that room, and her ghost haunts it. But these people were not ordinary. They were white all over, except for their eyes, which were red.”

Aww shit. I forgot I posted that story in here, so unwittingly glimpsed it (reminding me instantly of the horrible, horrible red eye on the other side of the lock) sitting all alone at the computer in the dark. With the door creaking in the draft.

The door is now firmly locked in place and all lights in the room are on full.

      I'm a pussy. Sue me.

Yeah, Tuesday night after I read that I was at my grandmas (her house is huge with lots of windows) and I had to fall asleep with the lights on! So count me in pussy category as well!
