      I am currently sorting out some prizes to run a competition on this site around the end of February/start of March. The prize is going to be something, special , signed and limited. More details nearer the time, once I have it in my safe hands ready to send to the winner.

      I am also hoping to get some runner up prizes to send out also, will increase the amount of post I have to send out and the amount to send it but i'm generous like that.

      So whats the point of this thread, well I wanted to get some of your ideas for a RBF related contest, that allows runners up.

      This will be my first contest i have organized so ideas are welcome. The main goal for this competition is to lure some more RBF fans onto the site and get the site more active.

      So lets hear your ideas and I look forward to starting the contest. :)

      who can come up with the new reelbigfish.info logo?

      the current one seems a little blah.

      I kind of like the logo as it is.

      Since no one really has many ideas, how about we keep it kind of simple the first time and do a competition for who can design the best Reel Big Fish shirt.

      You can either actually make it, or just make the design in photoshop (or gimp, whatever ya use). Take a picture of the shirt or just upload the image and post it here?

      Make it creative and true to the Reel Big Fish legacy.

      I dunno, I'm not sure there's really any call for a new t-shirt design…

      On the topic of t-shirts though: How about a wet t-shirt contest? Everyone loves a wet shirt!

      Oh no, I meant more in the realm of how the radio stations always do those contests where it's like "Show us your best station logo somewhere in the city!" (like the station here is 89x, so they call for people to go out and make a crazy X somewhere and take a pic of it and submit it for the contest)

      I figured maybe the most creative RBF reference artwork on a shirt would be cool. Maybe even something we can present to the band themselves to see if they want to mass produce it as well.. ?

      Yes. They will be all starting once the site is re-launched… Very soon 🙂 Will need all of you to gather as many RBF fans to enter and ultimately join this site. 😉

      The new logo has already been done really for this relaunch. I may ask you to design something… T-Shirts? Other Merch that I can eventually give away / sell.

      Hopefully use as prizes for MOTM + LOTM too, any other ideas? 🙂

      Hmmmm… Cracked.com has a fairly popular caption contest, I don't know if that would be relevant to this site, or even if we have enough members for that – but it's an idea!

      You could have a banner and advertise on some site with their profile like purevolume or their myspace… although that might be expensive…

      Yeah, Purevolume or something like that would be really expensive I'd guess. But if we could get them to advertise on their myspace (or their website), it could help get more interest.
