i'm listening to it right now, and i have to say that this is quite possibly the greatest "best of" album ever.

I never thought it would be worth buying…

I always wondered, the version of Take On Me on here is different to that on Viva La Internet. The VLI version seems to have a bunch of effects of it and the FN version doesn't.

Anyone know which version is on the Australian version of WDTRSH?

really late on this one… but I think that the version that is on the Australian version is the same on that is on this. The VLI one is the one from the Basketball soundtrack.

Should I add Favorite Noise to the Rarities, or would it be considered available to purchase?

i'd consider it commercial…….. not really for USA patrons… but brits at least

Now, is there honestly any reason to get Favorite Noise? From what i heard, all of the songs on the album came from another one of the studio albums already recorded……do you know if any of the tracks on Favorite Noise were actually uniquely recorded for just that album?…

Nope… all the tracks are on other albums. At the time, there was 1 new track on it which ended up on Cheer Up! It was not re-recorded… Everything on there can be found elsewhere including the version of Take On Me that is on it (look in the rare song list).

Ok…thanks….by any chance, do you know if this is the same deal with "Keep Your Receipt"?……Are there any tracks that are unique to that album as well?

kind of… there is a secret song after Unity… it is a ruff version of "I'm Cool" and is only maybe a minute long.

I was wrong… that is the secret track on TDRO… the one on KYR is different… and here it is!

I got this album the other day listened to it twice FANTASTIC . Me and my two sons sang our heads of to "Take on me" wowzer .

I'm not hearing this transitions to well.
