Frag MagnetMemberY’all been drinking anything good?
Currently, I’m sipping on this:

Does the high ABV (9.25%) IPA thing without tasting “boozy” or like you’re drinking a liquified pine cone. Good, refreshing flavor for a hot day and generally nicely balanced. Overall, I’m fairly impressed with this beer.

SamuMemberI’ve never a particular beer fan, but recently I discovered Belgian beers. That changed my perspective completely.
If you get the chance, try “Waterloo”.

Frag MagnetMemberIn my experience when the word “Belgian” is in the name of used to describe a beer, what it means that it tastes funny.

Frag MagnetMemberTonight I’m drinking:
Belhaven Wee Heavy: Scottish ale. Not terribly high ABV; pleasant, relaxing beer. Malty with just enough hopps for a bit of a high note as you drink it. I think I’ll be picking this one up again.
Spaten Doppel Bock: Definitely stronger than the Belhaven. Nice robust flavor but not as refined nor as strong as say Ayinger’s Celebrator. Very nice beer, though. I very much enjoyed it.
Abita Turbodog: Darker, more flavorful version of their Amber. Nothing amazing but a solid daily drinker (which is exactly what it is to me).
