the song is about a guy who gets wasted at a bar and get hooked up with a woman. they go to her place and..well..you know…but he finds out that shes a man too. cause we have this one line before the trumpet solo "I didnt know, women go, standing up, at the toilet!!"
and he gets his money stolen, and he goes back to the bar, knowing he'll see her again.

I actually kind of like Please Don't Tell Her I Have A Girlfriend. Every other RBF fan seems to disaggree with me on this, but I enjoyed it, and, while it's in the same vein as One Hit Wonderful, I don't think they're really all that close to each other.

I like that they put it on the album. You can rock out like TTRO/White Trash and enjoy the kick ass variety like Cheer Up!

I mostly dislike it because, although it's similar to One Hit Wonderful, OHW is a MUCH better song. Much less generic and obvious. PDTHIHAGF is so predictable.

you know, i listened to monkeys for the first time in a couple months the other day, and i really liked this song… or at least i didn't feel compelled to skip it, i should say.

That's not fully true, they played 241 at the first rbf concert I was at, with just one trombone. And it was obviously great. It was an awesome setlist.

i think two trombones would make it easier to play and it'd sound better, too, but it's not necessary.

Still, it should still be played live. The recent set lists from the past year or two are pretty much all the same…

I'd love to see it live, plus they could make such an awesome inter-band version touring with Streetlight… Not that it'll happen.
