Subliminal Ska

yes, I listen to 99.9 kisw The Rock of Seattle and sometimes when someones talking they'll play either Alternative, Baby or Sell out in the background and also a while back on a Blockbuster sale commercial on the radio I heard A-W-E-S-O-M-E in the background.

Paris Hilton's single has the ska ska ska guitar song. She is my new favorite ska artist.

The music on america's funniest home videos is ska all the way.

There was some comercial for like HD radio or Sirius satelite or something, and there was this really upbeat ska number in the background, almost like The Pietasters kind of sort of. It made me skank while driving (not sure how safe I was driving at that point in time, lol)

I have been noticing an increase in the number of ska-style songs in commercials

so yesterday i was at the mall and as i was walking past the hollister i heard that they were playing reel big fish! of all places!

i was in a tattoo/peircing shop once in edinburgh cos my cousins friend was getting her nose peirced and they were playing rbf 🙂
i think it was awesome.. or something off were not happy anyway

i was walking in the mall and heard a faint playing of Reel Big Fish's S.R in Hot Topic. So I went in for the song and it was the clean version, then left immediately after because Hot Topic is not punk rock. Thats the most recent thing I heard aside from the occasional sublime song in the background of a commercial.

Yesterday I heard both Brand New Song and Shes Famous Now in the background of two drunks talking on the radio (Brand New Song) and in the background of The Dj talking (Shes Famous Now) both Instrumentals.

i was watching an X-Play (a show about video games) special on Sex and Violence…anyways DOA2 Xtreme was on and i heard a few seconds of "The Kids Don't Like It" and i was all "whoa! RBF in DOA?!?!?"

I remember one, on Cinematech, was a game with a hot chick in a bikini and in the background was I want your girlfriend to be my girlfriend too. surprised i didn't catch that xplay one since i saw it yesterday, hooray for DVR.

I was wacthing a movie today called "Fun With Dick and Jane" and both "What I Got"by Sublime and "Time Bomb" by Rancid were in it!

I was watching Attack of the Show on G4 and it was about to go commercial and this some random ska tune played in the background.

yeah i was watching xplay too and i cought on to the rbf, i was like wtf dude! thats awesome!
