This was my first RBF show. I have loved them form afar for years and they more than satisfied me that day. Ill talk about the first few bands so hang in there casue the FISH is at the end.
First was Junior, then Against All Authority. They were ok. They had a definate power to them becasue they got people into it. However, not as much as the last two bands.
Streetlight Manifesto was "off the hook". Holy shiat!! One band member would look at me ans we were skanking and singning! Man that was great!! They brought all fast motion and stole the crowd. I lost my voice singing to them.
Last, but not least, THE GREAT REEL BIG FISH. Immediately upon thier burst onto the stage, the crowd went nuts. They were allready chanting "OLEEEEEE OLEEEEEE OLE OLE OLE OLE" and "LETS GO BIG FISH (clap calp clap calp clap)" I was in the very front against a barracade. Needless to say, my ribs were sore. I was right in fornt of lil Johnny Chritmas. He and I flirted around and exchanged gestures. AHAHA, he even played a solo right in front of my face!! You can see that in the video link below. He asked for a beer, but I had none. I was also the first one to read the set list. That was cool. But they still suprized me by play "Enter Sandman" by Metallica.
