I really like this album,its a bit more downbeat but who cares?This is the Reel Big Fish concept album.This is also the album that has helped me through the bad times the most.
Best song is probbly Drinkin' or A-W-E-S-O-M-E.

It's funny how a lot of the songs on this album, represent the shitty girlfriend I had when it first came out, and the last two songs spell it perfectly for me! 🙂

the fire is great. i love the lyrics to don't start a band. talkin bout a revoluton is an amazing cover.

It's gotta be Say Goodbye, but all of the last four songs are contenders. I would also love A-W-E-S-O-M-E if it weren't so over-produced.

you know, i don't really mind the production anymore. i actually kinda like it from time to time. it's something different.

It's something different, but I think the vocal processing went a bit overboard in A-W-E-S-O-M-E and The Bad Guy.

I don't like the cover art.

i know what you mean. the cover art isn't terrible it just doesn't seem to fit them. they could have done something way cool with that album.

I think cover art is pretty negligible as far as importance goes. I didn't like Monkeys' cover art either.

yeah the art for monkeys was ok. not great. my favorite cover art is probably on turn the radio off. cheer up is pretty cool too.

Those are both good, to be sure. Why Do They Rock So Hard was kind of unremarkable in that aspect.

i painted the cheer up! cover on my wall, so i guess that'd have to be my favorite one. i liked wnhtynh's cover, though.

I thought Not Happy's cover art was super cool!

I didn't hate it, I just didn't think it was particularly remarkable. Cheer Up's was all kinds of sweet though.

hahaha! i used the cheer up! cover as a cover page for one of my english essays my senior year and my bitch teacher thought it was a drawing i did of her choking me out. in my defense, her make up kind of [i]did[/i] make her look like a drunken clown, and her beard was thicker than mine.

The first time I saw the Cheer Up cover I laughed for quite awhile.

TTRO is kinda cheesy, though. If that was done in cartoon form, it would be much better.

well when you open up the cd case there is a cartoon version of it.

I remember when the website was changed and it took forever for the site to upload the little fire that was burning, and then once it did, there was always the Ikonboard Error messages.

I think WNHTYNY suffered from a bad tracklisting.

I always loved that album and will defend it… always.

anyways, I would say Don't Start a Band. I love that song, it's so hypocritical. The Live version is a lot better tho. All and all I'd say (in my opinion) that this is Reel Big Fish's worst full legnth album. It's still really good compared to other bands and it has some really great songs though.

Is there a reason you didn't spell though properly?
